Migraine Headache and Some statistics on Migraine Headache

Approximately 45 million Americans suffer from chronic headaches, and of them, 28 million suffer
from migraines. Migraine headaches typically last from 4-72 hours. Migraine headaches affect about 15% of the population. Three times as many women as men have migraines. About 90 percent of migraines have a genetic component. Over 80% of migraineurs have family members who have migraines.
